These are given as an indication only and will vary dependent on alcohol consumption, male / female attendance and crowd surge at certain times of the day e.g. following speeches. Your dedicated Customer Account Manager will work with you to ensure the correct solution is specified for your event.
Please also remember to make provision for toilets with disabled access and/or baby changing facilities where necessary.
Access to the site:
Your intended site should be easily accessible and as flat as possible. If you think that your site may cause problems then please alert us at the time of your booking and we will be able to conduct a site visit if necessary.
The Luxury toilet units we supply are fully self contained and come with their own water tank (not suitable for drinking). For events of an extended duration this may require topping up with an on site supply, or via our service unit. However, under normal usage no additional water will be required.
The Luxury and Premier toilet trailers require a 16amp / 3.5kVa electricity supply (one for each trailer unit). Nothing else should be allowed to run of the same socket for the duration of your event. If you do not have access to mains electricity on site we can advise on the provision of a suitable generator.
As the toilet units are fully self-contained, there is no need for any drainage facility on site.
For a typical event such as a wedding or private party that lasts for no more than 12 hours, the toilet units will not require any servicing. However, if your event occurs over several days or you are hosting an event with very large numbers of guests then servicing on site may be necessary. This can be discussed at the time of your enquiry.
Yes, we can provide one or more attendants depending on the size of your event. Their main duty is to maintain facilities in pristine condition throughout the event.
BorderLoos provide all the consumables you will need for your event. Quality soaps and hand lotions are provided in our luxury toilet units in a smart dispenser. We can supply luxury brands for your guests if required at additional cost. If you have any particular requirements please speak to your event account manager.
The Luxury toilet units are constructed on trailers, similar to large caravans. Depending on site access and weather conditions, we have a variety of vehicles that can effect delivery.
Your delivery and installation time can be discussed at the time of your booking. Usually the facilities will arrive one or two days prior to your event at a mutually agreed time. Specific timings can be arranged at an extra cost based on mileage.
Yes, it is quite common for us to provide facilities that are built into a marquee. The marquee company will be responsible for the structure surrounding the units. In these situations delivery of the units should be timed to coincide with the erection of the marquee and if necessary we will also liaise with the marquee company to ensure smooth delivery and set-up.
BorderLoos will provide you with an emergency contact number to report any faults. Our service commitment includes a 24/7 response by our Technical team who will either try to overcome the problem by telephone or attend your event in person at the earliest opportunity.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that adequate insurance is taken out covering all facilities for the duration of the event to cover damage and theft. BorderLoos offers excellent value damage waiver and you will be offered this at the time of booking.
BorderLoos doesn't just hire toilet facilities but can also supply high quality Picnic Tables to provide excellent additional indoor or outdoor seating for your guests and GroundProtector all weather surface protection to create safe pedestrian walkways and vehicle access.
